About Us

The Friends of Mitchell Park, a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is run by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. It was founded in 2008 to support projects in the park. While we are independent of the Greenport Village administration, we work in collaboration with the Village. We have no responsibility or authority to run the park or any of its amenities, nor can we approve activities in the park. We can provide financial support to those who organize Village-approved events in the park - see our Request Funding page for details.

The members of the Board are Suzanne Donovan, Poppy Johnson, Christine Kelly, Bob Mills, Diane Mulvaney, Jason Odell and Lisa Richland.
