Free Carousel Rides
The Friends of Mitchell Park, with help from the Village of Greenport, sponsor free carousel rides for children 12 and under periodically throughout the year. On February 18, 2024, we were able to give 164 free carousel rides. On July 5, we gave 925 free carousel rides!

In conjunction with the children's egg hunt on Saturday, March 30, 2024, the Friends of Mitchell Park offered free carousel rides to children ages 12 and under.
This was a huge success with a total of 441 riders who enjoyed the carousel rides.
